A stunning Manor House wedding with Drone Coverage

The Prep

Well well well another stunning September wedding to talk about at Hoar Cross Hall!

For the morning of Sara & Greg’s wedding at Hoar cross hall, we arrived nice and early as it’s just 20 minuted from us. We threw the drone up in the air to capture the incredible venue in all it’s glory. We captured the entire grounds and planned to use the drone throughout the day to capture more of the wedding from the skys!

Everything was all on location at Hoar cross hall. The couple decided to get ready in separate locations however with Sara getting ready in the bridal suite and Greg getting ready at home. We joined Sara in the bridal Suite which is an absolutely lovely place to get ready for your wedding day!

The Ceremony

Sara & Greg had their ceremony in the Joynes Suite at Hoar cross Hall. Fairly large ceremony with all their family and friends present. After a beautiful exchange of vows and wedding rings the couple wed infant of their family and friends!

After the ceremony we left for the grounds of hoar cross and had the drinks reception outside on the terrace. The Hoar cross hall terrace over looks beautiful fields for miles, it’s truly breathtaking!

The drone was once again taken out for this part of the day and we enjoyed getting some more Arial shots of the couple and their guests. Some lovely shots which can be viewed in the teaser trailer!

We then had the chance to take the couple away for some alone time away from their guests to get some of those dreamy wedding shots that every bride wishes for! The veil dancing in the wind, the lovey dovey shots that look great in the wedding film. A cinematic shot with the perfect lighting.

The Reception

The guests were seated into the Joynes suite once again after it was turned around by the staff during the drinks reception. The couple entered the room with cheers and applause from their guests and the wedding breakfast began…What the couple didn’t know was that the mother of the bride had a little surprise up her sleeve! Singing Waiters!

We have had the chance to work with Maurice and Darren from The Sing along Waiters on many occasions now and they always deliver without fault! Ofcourse by now everybody knows how this works, the singers pose as waiters and join in serving the guests and couple during the wedding breakfast. Then towards the end of the meal they burst into song and everyone has a brilliant time! It’s great fun and always a blast to film!

We again took the couple out for some sunset shots after the wedding breakfast, just before the first dance. For me September is an incredible month to shot weddings. We get the most incredible golden hour and it allows us to work wonders with our films! For me the sunset shots that we filmed at this wedding were some of the best shots that we got in 2019!

After the couple cut their cake we went straight into the father and daughter dance, Sara’s father then passed her over to her new husband and the couple enjoyed their first dance. We left the couple and their guests soon after the first dance to enjoy their night in the Joynes suite at Hoar Cross Hall!
